Dear Mukul,

Wising you a very Happy Birthday. All the things we shared in childhood, I still hold so dearly in my heart even today. We may not be together now but the closeness that we feel will never end. You would have been 22 today and of course a great support to our family... We miss you so much. Dad doesn't say but i know how much he miss you... and mom, when she was going through bad health.. she only wished if you were around.

The last time i saw you.. you looked very cold.... Rest in peace my brother we will carry you in our hearts for the rest of our lives and you will never be forgotten. Take Care Mukul.. wherever you are.

Lots of love from your sister,
Sherry

Happy Birthday Papa

Dear Papa,
Every year, your birthday reminds us
how grateful we are that you are our father.
With all that’s going on in the world today,
We are thankful we get to watch you,
to look up to you, being an example of a good man.
What a privilege it is to observe your strength,
your competence, and your kindness.
You brought us up like a prince and a princess.
We are so blessed to be under your wing,
your protection, your care,
learning important life lessons from you.
If all fathers were like you,
The world would be a very different
and much better place.
Happy Birthday, Dad,
from your admiring children -
Mukul and Sherry

Happy Mother's Day, Mumma

Before I was myself you made me, me
With love and patience, discipline and tears,
Then bit by bit stepped back to set me free,

Allowing me to sail upon my sea,
Though well within the headlands of your fears.
Before I was myself you made me, me

With dreams enough of what I was to be
And hopes that would be sculpted by the years,
Then bit by bit stepped back to set me free,

Relinquishing your powers gradually
To let me shape myself among my peers.
Before I was myself you made me, me,

And being good and wise, you gracefully
As dancers when the last sweet cadence nears
Bit by bit stepped back to set me free.

For love inspires learning naturally:
The mind assents to what the heart reveres.
And so it was through love you made me, me
By slowly stepping back to set me free.

A Mother .. A Woman

Why are you crying, a young boy asked his Mom?

"Because I'm a woman," she told him.

"I don't understand," he said.

His Mom just hugged him and said,
"And you never will, but that's O.K.".......

Later the little boy asked his father,
"Why does Mom seem to cry for no reason?".
"All women cry for no reason," was all his Dad could say......

The little boy grew up and became a man,
still wondering why women cry.

Finally he put in a call to God and when God got back to him, he asked "God, why do women cry so easily?"

GOD answered......

"When I made woman,
I decided she had to be special.
I made her shoulders
strong enough to carry
the weight of the world, yet,
made her arms gentle enough to give comfort...

I gave her the inner strength
to endure childbirth
and the rejection
that many times will come
even from her own children.

I gave her a hardness
that allows her
to keep going and take care
of her family and friends,
even when everyone else gives up, through sickness and fatigue without
complaining....

I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all
circumstances. Even when her child has hurt her badly....

She has the very special power to make a child's boo-boo feel better and
to quell a teenager's anxieties and fears....

I gave her strength to care for her husband, despite faults
and I fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart....

I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but
sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him
unfalteringly....

For all of this hard work,
I also gave her a tear to shed.
It is hers to use
whenever needed and !
it is her only weakness....
When you see her cry,
tell her how much you love her, and all she does for everyone, and even though
she may still cry, you will have made her heart feel good.

She is special!
This poem is for the
men to read so they will understand about what a
wonderful thing a woman is.
Each day is a mountain that must be climbed; with courage each step
gets easier.

Love your Mother Always

and keep her Smiling

Live Life ...King Size

Have you ever watched kids...On a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain..Slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?
You better slow down.
Don't dance so fast...Time is short...The music won't last.

Do you run through each dayOn the fly?
When you ask How are you?...Do you hear the reply?
When the day is done...Do you lie in your bed with the next hundred chores running through your head?
You'd better slow down.
Don't dance so fast...Time is short...The music won't last.

Ever told your child,We'll do it tomorrow?
And in your haste, Not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch,Let a good friendship die...Cause you never had time to call and say,"Hi"
You'd better slow down...Don't dance so fast...Time is short...The music won't last.

When you run so fast to get somewhere..you miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day,
It is like an unopened gift....Thrown away.
Life is not a race...Do take it slower...Hear the music...before the song is over.

Why God Created Teachers

Why God created teachers

When God created teachers,

He gave us special friends

To help us understand

His world And truly comprehend

The beauty and the wonder

Of everything we see,

And become a better person

With each discovery.

When God created teachers,

He gave us special guides

To show us ways in which to grow

So we can all decide

How to live and how to do

What's right instead of wrong,

To lead us so that we can lead

And learn how to be strong.

Why God created teachers,

In His wisdom and His grace,

Was to help us learn to make our world

A better, wiser place.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUKUL !

What was his life but a vapor
A grain in the sands of time, A drop of dew in the morning
And a ray of lost sunshine, His love was deep as the ocean
It reached from the earth to the sky
He looked for the wings of an angel
And the land of "Sweet Bye and Bye"
Sometimes his pain was a puzzle, sometimes his joy a rhyme
But his heart reached out and touched me
That wonderful brother of mine

Life is never a highway but a mountainous road to climb
I'm glad I had you beside me
Oh. wonderful brother of mine

You were here for only a momentNow you have slipped away
The stage of life's been traded for one of earth and clay
I think of the days of childhood
When we played on meadow and Lea
All that is left is an echo your voice is calling to me
How many drops of water has gone down the river of time
But none will be more precious
Than ours- Oh, brother of mine

The twilight of life came creeping across the portals of time
And when the veil was lifted....Gone--that brother of mine
Gone like the mist of the morning or flowers at ending of day
The song of the bird has ended and the music has faded away
If God would grant me the power to turn back the pages of time
I'd turn them back one by one till I found that brother of mine

Life's little day has ended your race on earth is run
So fold your hands my brother and wait for the morning sun
Farewell, oh wonderful brother of mine and may these words be read
By those who still remember you...

HAPPY BRITHDAY MUKUL ...

I haven’t taste the meaning of the life...since you have gone so far away. It hurt so bad, when i am alone without your love.My life is empty...I thought that i will never full this empty life...since you turn away. Take care... our wishes are with you where you are.

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ..... enough money within her control to move out and rent a place of herown even if she never wants to or needs to...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ...something perfect to wear if the employer or date of her dreams wants to see her in an hour...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ...a youth she's content to leave behind....

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ...a past juicy enough that she's looking forward to retelling it in herold age....

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE .....one friend who always makes her laugh... and one who lets her cry...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE .....a feeling of control over her destiny...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...how to fall in love without losing herself..

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...How to quit a job, and confront a friend without ruining the friendship....

VERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...when to try harder... and when to walk away...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW... that she can't change the nature of anyone...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...that her childhood may not have been perfect...but its over...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW... what she would and wouldn't do for love or more...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...how to live alone... even if she doesn't like it...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...whom she can trust, whom she can't, and why she shouldn't take it personally...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...where to go...be it to her best friend's kitchen table...a charming inn in the woods...when her soul needs soothing...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...what she can and can't accomplish in a day...a month...and a year...

A Rose

A lovely rose with petals soft
A scent so sweet and light
So beautiful a flower
With colors shining bright.
But something not so savory
About the fragrant rose -The thorns, so sharp upon the stem,
That sharpen as it grows.
Yet still lovely is the flower
Despite the thorns that prick
Just as life and love are sweet
They too have thorns that stick.
But do not fear to live or love,

Life's not exempt from pain -So pick a rose, you may get hurt, But you will also gain!

Words Are Not Enough

The words "I miss you" can not display

The depths of how I care.

The words "I want you" do not betray

The extent of what I dare.

The words "I need you" can not convey

The extent of my prayer.

The words "I love you" do not portray

The heights of my love.

Many Times In My Life

Many times in my life I have disappointed you,
and begun to stray.
But you have pointed me in the right direction,
and sent me on my way.

Many times in my life I've needed a helping hand,
and someone to pull me up.
It was you who gave that helping hand,
and always cheered me up.

Many times I've been sad and down,
and taken it out on you.
But you stood by me and comforted me,
In times that I was bad.

Many times I've needed support,
and to know someone was there.
It was you who held me up,
and showed me how to care.

Many times I've wanted to tell you this,
But never got a chance.
You have helped me out in life,
and got me where I am.

You were there for me through thick and thin,
You never gave up on me and you taught me how to care.
From the deepest of my heart I want to say I thank you for being there for me in times of good or bad.

Woman of No Time

I am the woman
Who has no time,
I envy those who have
They envy me for having none.
My desire is to plant forests
But I only manage shrubs,
I want to run one million races
When I barely manage one.
Yet I know I'm not a fly born in the summer dawn
And dead in the afternoon,
My day is a pomegranate
Full of ruby grains --
Time must be my friend!
Stopping me from tasting them all at once
So I can enjoy them one by one.
As long as each grain is a lifetime
I do not care if I am the woman of no time.
